With its consumption of 256 kWh per year, the LORD C18 freestanding refrigerator ranks in the energy-saving energy class E (until 30 June 2021 it roughly corresponded to class A++). The NoFrost automatic defrosting feature is included as a matter of course. There is also a zero zone drawer for longer freshness of stored meat and fish. The benefits of this combination refrigerator-freezer include simple touch control and an immediate overview of the temperature in the freezer and refrigerator compartments, thanks to the LCD display. The refrigerator has a quick cooling feature, while the freezer offers quick freezing. The Holiday feature is ideal for when you plan to be on holiday and the refrigerator door won’t be opened for several days. The child lock may also come in handy. In the refrigerator compartment you will find several temperature zones. The refrigerator compartment, with its automatic defrosting feature, is divided into several zones. In addition to the classic food storage area, there is a special zone for fruit and vegetables. There is also a zero-temperature zone, which was created specifically for fish and meat. Metal cooling ensures an even temperature in the refrigeration compartment and returns it to the right temperature faster after the door is opened for longer food life.  Three safety glass shelves are available for food storage. There is also a shelf for bottles and three shelves in the refrigerator door. The freezer compartment features NoFrost automatic defrosting. The freezing capacity of the freezer is 8.5 kg of food per 24 hours. In the event of a power outage, food remains safe for around 12 hours.

The extended warranty is listed directly on the warranty card; no additional registration is required. Other brands do offer a 10, 15 or 20 year warranty on the compressor. But compressors today are made carbon-free and are essentially “eternal”. To make matters worse, we have seen cases where the warranty applies to the “eternal” compressor, but not to the electronics for the compressor. But should your LORD C18 refrigerator still break down at any time over the course of five years, a technician will come to you as quickly as possible. The technician’s labor, transportation and replacement materials are free of charge. Of course, in order to claim a free repair or free replacement, you must not damage the refrigerator yourself.
